A comic I did for the academy, based on the prompt -" I am you and you are me ".
When considering this theme, it took me to the direction of self and self perception. This comic depicts a character who perceives himself as rotten to the very soul. So he sets off on a journey to replace it , but unfortunately, during his search, he loses it. After getting some guidance and with the threat of death looming over his head, he's determined to find his soul. On the way he meets a soul, without realizing it's his, and they continue on the journey together. Getting to know each other and going through battles draws them closer together - they learn to appreciate one-another. After losing the final battle in which the soul gets destroyed, the main character learns that he was traveling with his own soul this whole time and the thing he perceived as rotten and underserving of love is in fact not so.
